Consequently, the factory's technical staff were the first to gain exposure to this technology.
During this period, the factory dispatched technicians to the Ministry of Light Industry in Beijing for specialized training.
This opportunity allowed them to acquire firsthand technical knowledge and expertise.
By 1998, however, the project had stalled due to outdated technology and a sluggish market in the packaging machinery industry.
Compounded by the restructuring of state-owned enterprises and the economic crisis of 1998, the factory lacked the resources to sustain the project's continued development.
Ultimately, in 2003, the factory officially announced the cancellation of the project.
Nevertheless, some of the original technicians, recognizing the technology's vast potential, persisted in their research and innovation efforts.
Through tireless work, they successfully developed the first weighing-type granule packaging machine.
This model was designated the LCS-1 weighing packaging machine.
Thus, the core technology behind weighing-type granule packaging machines originated largely from these technicians.
Most subsequent weighing-type granule packaging machines were based on this initial model.
The weighing-type granule packaging machine is an electromechanical device that utilizes a microcomputer processor as its core control system, achieving high-precision weighing and packaging through vibratory feeding and electronic scales.
