Food packaging automation is rapidly integrating into the lives of ordinary people, driving a trend toward a fast-paced, convenient lifestyle.
In recent years, some enterprises have dedicated themselves to the independent research and development of automated equipment-such as automatic packaging machines-and the integration of intelligent warehousing systems, thereby further advancing intelligent manufacturing.
Experts predict that global demand for machinery and equipment is growing at an annual rate of 5.2%, with the market value expected to reach US$39.8 billion by 2012. In the coming years, sales of packaging equipment in developing nations are projected to surpass those in developed countries like Japan and the United States. In 2010, my country's demand for packaging machinery stood at approximately US$3.3 billion. According to forecasts by the China Machinery Industry Federation, the scale of my country's packaging machinery industry is expected to exceed 600 billion yuan during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period.
