Powder packaging machines can be classified based on criteria such as the metering method. In terms of metering, they are categorized into auger-dosing machines and weighing-type machines. Auger-dosing machines are suitable for powders with good flowability and utilize a screw-feed mechanism for dispensing. Weighing-type machines employ high-precision sensors for real-time weight feedback control, offering superior accuracy.

Fully automated packaging lines integrate multiple units-such as automatic bag feeding, metering and filling, and sealing-to minimize manual intervention. Specialized models are available for specific materials, including bottom-filling machines, nitrogen-purging machines, and explosion-proof machines. Bottom-filling machines feature a filling nozzle located at the bottom of the bag, effectively mitigating dust generation. Other types include three-side seal vertical packaging machines and back-seal pillow-bag packaging machines. These machines support various bag-forming styles, such as three-side seals, four-side seals, and back seals.
