A Combination of Dynamic and Static Weighing
Packaging machine weighing operates in two modes: dynamic weighing and static weighing.
Dynamic Weighing: Suitable for high-speed, continuous packaging (e.g., granules, tablets). Materials are weighed while in motion, with the system utilizing real-time sampling and filtering algorithms to eliminate vibration interference. For instance, a multi-head weigher used by a food manufacturer can maintain a single-pack weight error within ±1% at a rate of 100 packs per minute.
Static Weighing: Suitable for applications requiring high precision (e.g., chemical raw materials). Material first enters the weigh hopper; the system reads the data once stability is achieved, and discharge is subsequently triggered by a pneumatic cylinder or motor. This mode offers precision of up to ±0.2% but operates at a slower speed (approximately 20–40 packs per minute).
